POMPANO BEACH, FL. (September 15, 2016) – Silver Lining Inflight Catering just hosted its first training course for a well-known Florida based charter company, American Charter Services. The group came in on September 13th for a little hands-on training behind-the-scenes at Silver Lining. Starting with a chartered bus ride to the kitchen, they arrived at 10am to begin their day of training. After being split up into two teams, some friendly banter got the competition and fun rolling.

Each team consisted of 11 members, along with 3 Silver Lining chefs per team to ensure safety and food regulation guidelines were being followed. Once the menus were given out, the teams got to it at multiple stations setup throughout the kitchen. Knife skills, sandwich carving, seasoning, presentation, storage, packaging, and shrink-wrapping were just a few of the stations.

Once orders were complete, they were taken to expo to get packed to be delivered to their designated locations. Both teams delivered to their planes on time!

After training concluded, the team raised a glass to their hard work and were served a Silver Lining lunch. Congrats and thank you to ACS for the fun times! For more pictures, visit
